Can't connect to MySQL server using revOpenDatabase

It should work if you enter 'www.example.com:5432' in the address 
field, instead of just 'www.example.com' although I have never tried 
that.
One other possibility: see what happens if you translate 
'www.example.com' to a numeric IP address before connecting. You can do 
this using the hostNameToAddress function.
