You mean like this?
This is a Windows app which looks like OSX..and functions that way too.
I've quickly created an interface stack you can examine.
You can view it by typing into the message box:
go URL "http://www.altuit.com/webs/altuit2/RunRev/macMetalLook.rev"
or go to the bottom of page:
Apple Metal Look Interface Stack
ng tricks to get the Mac OSX 'Metal' look and feel.
The texture is a background pattern. The backgourn pattern is an image
named "apple.png" on card 2 of the stack.
A small transparent PNG img "applehilite" is stretched to cover the
height and width of the window. Then the lockloc of it is set to true so
it won't revert back to a smaller size.
The stack decorations are set to empty and there's a mouseMove handler
on the titlebar...which is an image "appletitlebar.png" stretched
Theres a transparent fill graphic with a black outline around the whole
Other stuff should be self explanatory.
