Background app in OSX.3?

Actually is this really only a Panther issue? I've been unable to get  
it to work in 10.2.8 either. Can anyone confirm exactly which versions  
of Rev and OSX this actually worked with. BTW I just tried creating a  
simple Applescript app and setting NSBGonly to 1 in its pList and it  
ran as expected (didn't show up in either the dock or menubar) under  
Panther.
