some of the parts of your email message were truncated here. But I
think I can help you. when you use RevGoUrl you must use a URL as
parameter, you should assemble your parameter like that
put "/Macintosh HD/Mac temp/myFolder/data/myFile.htm" into tURL
put the URLEncode of tURL into tURL
revGoUrl "file:/" & tURL
You must provide the protocol to be used in the URL (it can be http://
ftp:// binfile:// resfork://), I don't really know if you need the
double slashes after the protocol or just a single one when using
"file:", you should check this out. Also using the transcript
dictionary to probe for comments on revGoUrl will prove to be a nice
