multiple instances of standalone under Windows

What about just looking for your app in the openProcesses list called from
the freeware command line utility:

http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/freeware/pslist.shtml

If your app is there, then shut yourself down.

Seems easy enough, unless I'm missing something.
