Known feature?

once upon a time in a field...
Has anyone noticed that field with foreground color 
set to green (select the field, set its color to 
green via text menu) doesn't give you the same hilite 
color as selected text set to color green
(Select the text and set it green via text menu)

I've tried playing with the fields' hilite and
foreground colors but was fruityless to get a same
consistent results... 

Anyone solved this or should I file a bugz?
