Quicktime not found??

I am trying to view the first video tutorial (getting started).  After 
a period for downloading the video, I get a play button,  Clicking it 
gets me an error message saying that quicktime is needed but not 
installed. The video plays but there is only audio, no video.

I have QT 6.5.1 installed on this Mac (OS X 10.3.5) and what's more REv 
2.5 knows it's there because QTversion() yields 6.5.1

Any idea why the video won't display?
