Tom, you've several times mentioned "fully formatted text" without
explaining exactly what you *mean* when you say "fully formatted text". Perhaps it
might help if you could clue us into the specific aspects of Rev text-handling
that just aren't working for you...
Type styles: Which styles does "fully formatted text" include? Bold,
italic, and underline go without saying, of course. Does "fully formatted text"
also include dotted underlines, doubled underlines, subscript, superscript, small
caps, superior and inferior? Does it include vertical and/or horizontal
"stretching"? Does it include outline, inline, and "contour" styles?
Positional adjustments: Does "fully formatted text" include arbitrary
baseline adjustments, kerning and tracking?
And so on, and so forth.
I'm just tryna find out the dimensions of the *real* problem here. Given
that Rev is perfectly happy to import (subsets of) both RTF and HTML, exactly
what do you need that can't be handled by Rev's existing RTF and HTML
capabilities?
