Mac OS X default button = 100% CPU usage

I thought I remembered something abpot this before, so I went for a
look-see. I found this from Klaus Major in the archives from June 2002 :

Throbbing buttons are kinda cool, too bad they can't figure a way to
multitask the things so they don't hog the CPU.
