messages out-of-order in time

I have noted that messages appearing at:
http://lists.runrev.com/pipermail/use-revolution/

are often out of order.  A reply can appear before the original 
question is asked.  Just now, for instance, a message has appeared 
which will be written in the future,   :-)  and  appears after my reply 
(further down the list).

I know this must have something to do with time zones, but all of the 
messages are listed in EST (eastern USA time zone) on my computer when 
I access the above site.
