Pausing a simple animation

John, Dave, and miscdas,

Thanks!  I've got it working now.  Dave's idea did the trick, although 
miscdas's approach worked as well.  I would have used it instead because 
the code is much more compact, but it depends on the user leaving the mouse 
over the "pause" button until the current frame finishes executing for the 
pause to take effect.

Thanks again!  I would have stayed stumped without your help.
