Revolution and Quickeys

Hello-
I am a new Revolution User and have been trying to set up some Quickeys 
actions under OS X.  The two programs don't seem to get along.  When I 
send a QK menu shortcut to Revolution the menu bar turn blue and the 
program begins to behave erratically.  I don't seem to have this 
problem in other apps.  Is anyone out there using Quickeys with 
Revolution.  I would hate to not be able to use it as it is such a 
timesaver.
