OT: Web editor Code Bloat--Help!

I am working with GoLive to repurpose print media for the web. Sadly, 
it produces an incredible about of garbage code if you do any editing 
at all in the WSIWIG environment...

It's more than trivial amount. If any of you experienced web wizards 
has anything to say about this (alternative tools is fine with me)
