ext_sayString - done handling

I have some wireless headphones and would enjoy doing other things while
keeping tabs on my computers.. As the messages update, I can't prepare them
all beforehand. 

I figure the workaround is to wait say 60 seconds after each speech, but
it'll cut off the long messages and there'll be "dead-air" in between the
short ones.
