Thanks, I got it, rebuilt the alwaysontop dll under visual c++ 6.0 on 
win2k, and it doesn't work either (runs fine, just doesn't keep the 
window on top).  I checked the win call, seems correct.  Got to get on 
to other things, but I wonder if this isn't a windows bug or doc 
problem.  I'm going to do some experimenting when I have time...
