Welcome! Here are some ideas:

1) Are you aware there is a project to develop a Free IDE in the spirit 
of Metacard, using the Revolution engine? Maybe that would be suitably 
challenging for you. :-)

2) The Rev IDE needs a spell-checker plugin real bad. I started writing 
one and then it got put on the back burner.
