Revolution 2.1 Installation Problems on OS X

I just tried to install v. 2.1 on two separate Macs running OS X, v. 
10.2.6. I entered my license info when prompted, but got the message:

Invalid License. Error 8.

Worse, there doesn't seem to be any way to get back to the license 
input screen once this error message appears. I tried trashing 2.1 and 
reinstalling, but the error message pops up again without offering me 
the chance to enter my registration info.

I purchased my upgrade to the new licensing system just about a month 
ago, and was using my new license just fine with v.2.02 and 2.03. Has 
anyone else experienced this problem?

Is there a workaround? Any thoughts that I might be doing something 
wrong? Please contact me off-list if this isn't a common problem.
