hide group - what gives?

For me it works in Rev as you describe for Metacard. Take ten visible items, group them, hide the group, and all ten items dissappear. Is it possible that the items you are trying to hide are noit actually in the group? I make mistakes like that all the time...(esp. when Select Grouped is turn on)
