'show fields' Question

You actually want to select the fields (all at once) and "group" them ---  check the docs out for that.  Then you name the group whatever you want (say "group1") and then you can use:

hide group "group1"

to get your desired effect

  You could group them, then hide the group, if that will work for your project.
