QuickTime External

Hi All

Has anyone developed a QuickTime external. I'm specifically interested in
generating a movie by recording the contents of a window. If anyone knows of
an animation format that can be viewed in QuickTime that could be written
out from Rev then that would help. I'm trying to find out if QuickTime can
play SVG animation but haven't got anywhere so far.
