Is there a way to interrupt a stack?

I'm running a stack inthe development environment, and it's stuck in 
an endless loop. Is there a way of stopping it?

To make this fun, it's popping up an endless stream of "answer" 
dialogs, so I don't have much of an opportunity of interrupting it.
