Downloading and running compressed stacks

In this case context is from a mounted volume over the LAN.. I also 
need the syntax
for doing the same via FTP.

This is problably in the archives somewhere... but, no search engine:

This isn't working for me... missing something simple.

on mouseUp
   put    URL  "file:/Volumes/Sound Projects/mathaShastra.gz" into 
stuffedStack
   put decompress(stuffedStack) into runStack
   go runStack
end mouseUp

??
