if you have a few buttons only, yes that could be a solution...
But I dont know how to make it flash, rollover or transparent?
Is this possible with a script?
I think it must be a "double graphic" button...
But what format would be the best, if it should be transparent and 
resizable?
How big would the size of this "double graphic" button be?
50kb, 100, 150kb or more... (my background-gifs for about 15-30 buttons 
are between 8-12kb)
And all that: *500 or thousand(s)...
