Problems with THE FILES and long filenames

I've run into a problem using both THE FILES and THE FOLDERS.  It 
appears that neither supports long file names under OS X.  I'm running  
revolution version 1.1.1r1 under Mac OS X 10.1.4.  Either function 
returns truncated filenames the same way Mac OS 9 does.

  e.g.
Al Kooper Car Like Nothing#9000
Art Of Noise Who's Afraid#10A68
