What Windows version are you using that has it? Are you saying it came with
standard installation of Windows? Never heard that before.

All Mac OS' since 7.5 or somewhere back in there automatically install with
text-to-speech extensions (MacInTalk and voices collection), unless you do a
custom install without them.
