geometry and multiple cards in a stack

That will work, but even simpler is to select the card (either by double
clicking it with the pointer tool, or by selecting card properties, then
choosing the Geometry Manager tool).  This allows you to set properties on
the card, one of them is to apply geometry when opening the card if the
stack has been resized.
