Copying a group does not copy all properties of group items

Same here - I need to keep the user's clipboard... I was really excited 
to read the description of the 'copy' command in the Transcript 
Dictionary because it specifically mentions that the clipboard will be 
untouched!

I wonder if anyone else has found a workaround?
