Plug-in question

I have been working on a plug-in for sometime now.  I need to know how to
lock it down. In HC I would hust set the userlevel to the Browse mode.  As
there isn't such a thing in Rev I need some sort of alternative. Basically I
want to secure my code. Can I just make it a standalone?  This may be
problematic because I am not sure whether a Plug-in is an exacutable file
like a standalone.(probably not as it works within REV)

Anybody got some ideas
