Have you set the directory in Metacard to that which contains the file?<BR>

In Terminal, you open in your home directory: in Metacard you'll start out in the application's directory.<BR>

Try: set the directory to "~/"<BR>

<BR>

If that's the case. Or, whichever directory you compose the messages in.<BR>
