Revised Font Chooser and Preferences stacks

I was just looking at this. I can modify the Save As dialog to allow us 
to save a stack in either format. I could also modify the Save script to 
check the stack to see what it was last saved as, and resave in that 
format -- but then I'd have to start inserting custom properties into 
people's stacks and I don't like doing that. It seems...I don't 
know...intrusive. So if it is okay with everyone, what I'd like to do is 
make Save use whatever the stack file version is set to in prefs. If you 
want to save in the other stack format, then you do a Save-As and make a 
new copy (or overwrite the original.) Is that acceptable?
