javacard/applets in stacks?

Well, I've been playing around with netbeans, getting ready for a course I'm
taking, and I wanted to ask whether anyone knows any visual development
environment for java that would be like metacard?

I know someone wrote an XCMD to allow using applets within hypercard(!) I'm
wondering whether anyone did that for revolution yet and also whether there are
any tools written in xtalk to generate java?

Any ideas?
