With your own menubar active or with MC's.

That's essentially where I have an issue with it:

If control is left to the menubar, then the current menubar governs what 
happens with those keystrokes.

But the MC IDE hijacks those events to emulate the MC menubar, even if 
your own menubar specifies different actions.
