You could use the showBorder property of the graphic object, with 3D set
to false. You could then select the color and width of the outline.

I have an image imported into a stack. I used the graphic tool to 
outline specific components. I set the ink of each graphic to noop. In 
order to accent the image for the student I will set the ink of a 
specific graphic  to adMin.
On the Mac OS X,  MC 2.3.4 this has the effect of drawing a line around 
the object leaving the object visible. On a Win platform it greys out 
the object and obscures it.
How do I get it to simply outline on both platforms?
