Problem with DontWrap plus announcement

Hello Ian Gordon and y'all

No, I have never had these problems, but I do have a
similar probleme though. The DontWrap property does
NOT seem to work. Getting the DontWrap property does
indeed return the expected true/false value, but the
property does NOT take effect. It's as-if the property
was permanently set ('frozen') to true. The lines of
my fields will NOT wrap, even when I insist that they
do by setting the property to false.

Does anyone else have this problem ?

NB: I am using MetaCard 2.5 with Mac OS 8.6.

Regards,

Alain

PS: I have just completed the scripting of a MC stack
that automatically transforms the layout of the cards
into the corresponding DHTML ( W3C layers+CSS+JS ), in
a WYSIWYG manner. IOW, with this stack, I can now edit
the layout of my DHTML web site via a MC stack. I'm in
the process of finishing the invisible backend posting
of the HTML files and images to the selected server. I
would like to point out, moreover, that the code that
this stack generates is 100% standards-compliant and
runs on ALL versions of ALL major browsers, even ...
drumroll ... the recently-released Explorer 6. So far,
only images and fields are supported, but subsequent
versions of my stack will also support buttons, e.g.
radioButtons, checkBoxes, popupMenus ... all the FORM
stuff required to make web-forms of all kinds, and the
stack that generates it all can also be cast in the
role of the CGI program that will receive and compile
the data submitted via your forms.

PPS: I am sharing this with y'all. The licence will be
GPL. I will notify everyone as sioon as I am satisfied
that this first version is completed and perfected. I
am v-e-r-y close to that moment-of-Zen. Just a bit of
backend stuff left; the frontend is already performing
marvelously!

PPPS: I am very proud of this one. I think we're going
to make a lot of tracks with it. Im very excited about
its prospects, and therefore about my own (& MC's). In
any case the school commission who sponsored this work
is t-h-r-i-l-l-e-d! So it's **win-win** all-around! :))
