Is this a show-stopper for Rev IDE users as well?

If so, how do they cope?

If not, how hard did the team have to work to account for this bug, and 
what exactly did they do?

Going back to v2.5.1 will help, but it doesn't give me the native 
appearances I'm supposed to be designing for and doesn't give a solution 
to my clients using v2.6.
