Stack location anomaly

The following fails:

put the loc of stack xyz into cd fld someField of stack savePreferences
save stack savePreferences
quit
open stack xyz
set the loc of stack xyz to cd fld someField of stack savePreferences

The stack does not open at the same loc.  It moves up.  I'm presuming 
this is related to the titlebar.  But can find no reference to the 
height of the titlebar or how it would affect the loc.
