Carriage return versus return

i use it just out of pure lazyness :-)
CR is much shorter than RETURN!

 From the MC dox:

Constants:
...
cr = UNIX line separator (ASCII 10)
...
return = UNIX line separator (ASCII 10)
...

So it looks to my non C-programmer eyes like it is the same...
