MC IDE v2.6 BETA 2 has been posted for your review to the Files section 
of the Yahoo group:

Please run it through its paces and report bugs here.

All reproducible issues have been addressed, including an obscure bug in 
engine v2.5 relating to paths when running in the Classic layer under OS 
X.  However time constraints prevented me from testing on Windows, and 
we'd all appreciate a thorough workout on all platforms before making 
any final build.

If you want to fix and bugs yourself please do.  To help prevent 
duplication of effort and/or versioning issues please drop a note here 
first telling us what you'll be working on.

Any new features should of course be proposed here first for discussion 
before implementing, though if you wish to maintain a forked variant of 
the project for your own needs the X11 license that governs this project 
allows that.

Many thanks to all who contributed to this build, esp. Robert Brenstein 
for his assistance with the Plugin Manager.
