socketTimeOut

Hello
I'm on Mac 9.2 using MC 2.5.

A simple script uploads a stack to a server with ftp (tUrl = 
ftp://username:password@www.........../ ):


put compress (url("binfile:" &  tFilepath)) into url tUrl
put the result

This used to work perfectly during earlier versions of MC. Now with 
2.5 I get "error socketTimeOut". Thanks for any help.
