Radical slowdown on one system

How many other processes are running on his computer, Richard? If there is 
nothing untoward happening in the background, it sounds as if he is in need 
of a system clean-up to me. How long does it take him to open a large MSWord 
doc, for example? Also, if he has a Celeron processor... !
