MetaCard 2.5, the latest release of MetaCard Corporation's
award-winning cross-platform application development and multimedia
authoring tool, is now available via the following links:

MetaCard 2.5 includes a wide range of new features including:

* A completely redesigned debugger, integrated with the script editor,
  that including new variable and message watchers, and an execution
  contexts (call stack) window.
* Support for display and editing of Unicode text.
* A scriptable "drag and drop" architecture including automatic drag
  and drop of text in fields.
* Support for cut/copy/paste of images and styled text.
* Scriptable access to the system clipboard.
* Support for many new OS X Aqua features including sheets, small
  buttons and scrollbars, and pulsing buttons.
* Improved usability and reliability for many existing features.

list of new features and important instructions for downloading and
using this release.

---------------------- Subscription Renewal Time ---------------------

Many of you will need to renew your MetaCard license subscriptions to
be able to use 2.5 (the license splash screen will tell you this).  To
renew, choose "Licensing" from the MetaCard Help menu and follow the
prompts to the Order Forms.  Choose one of the renewal options from
the "License Type" menu, and fill out and send in the form.  You'll
get your new subscription key via return email, usually within a few
minutes.

The main phone number for MetaCard Corporation is being changed to
303-494-6763.  Please take a moment to update your records, or just
remember that you can always find it on the Home page of our WWW site
