Speeding up this handler

No, you would still want to use the fileName property: it's just that when 
the card opened, they would all be rendered once and not read from disk again 
so long as you use the button/icon approach *or* the imageData one. The crux 
of the issue I believe is avoiding the reloading of many images from disk 
each time. If you can avoid that, you'll most likely gain a lot of speed: 
setting icons and/or imageData is very fast.
