MC 2.5A8 problems

I'm seeing the same thing, I reported it. The problem happens when 
you've clicked on the Variable Watcher to see a variable's value, the 
focus doesn't remain on the script editor window, so the command keys 
are passed to the main stack window instead. For now, make sure the 
script editor window is frontmost before using the command keys (click 
on it again) and then they will work again.

Should be okay on all platforms for which there is a released version, 
but remember, this is just an alpha. It is out there for us to find 
bugs, and it is still in its infancy yet. You should report the crashes 
and as much as you know of what caused them, so that they can be fixed.
