Neither. The source is a completed and saved MIDI file on disk, which 
was imported into QT Player and pasted into a movie as a separate track. 
There isn't anything live going on. The audio track synchs fine with the 
video track under OS 9 but fails under OS X in a big way. Both tracks 
are part of the same movie.
