1. you can put the complete image into another image

...
put image "which is already in this stack" into image 1
...

this will work, but you end with redundant data...

The id-thing only works with buttons.

You can display an image inside a button just by setting the buttons 
icon-property
to the id of the desired image.

Thus, no redundant data.

But only works with buttons...
