Just to confirm, I installed finally Darwin & Metacard and shell() does
work.
One inconsistency I noticed on the ftp.metacard.com is that the engine
is 2.4 and the stacks are 2.4.1 which causes misbehavior.
Also, a little off subject, the window manager I use on Linux, Blackbox
(Fluxbox), works perfectly on Darwin and being very small and C++ hides
the slowness of the system quite well.
I'm not an Apple fan anymore but can't help wondering, could you do that
with WindowsXP? ;-)
