Creating cursor

OK,  I give up.  I am trying to create a new cursor. I
created a gif file of the small shape that is to be my
cursor. I imported the gif as an image into the
cursors stack, calling it "grabbed". The imported
image had an id of 1025, so I set the id of the
imported image to 27. I saved the cursors stack.
Whenever I try to change to this new cursor, either
with "set cursor to image id 27" or "set cursor to
grabbed" (with or without quotes on grabbed) I get an
execution error.

Enlightenment, anyone?
