How about the following:

  set the itemDelimiter to "|"
  put 0 into tNum
  repeat for each line i in temp
    add 1 to tNum
    put "-|-un-|" & item 3 to (the number of items in i - 6) of i & 
"|0|0|0|0|0" into line tNum of temp1
  end repeat
